To go back to the topic line words 'Boeing focuses on etc' we need to be aware that under McNerny Boeing is focussing on money. His cancellation of Connexion and an email forwarded to me a few minutes ago by a source reporting the impending closure of the C-17 line in 2009 suggest that this guy is Mr Shut Down, and the 748I might be in its last hours if not days.

Study McNerny. He shuts down anything that isn't going to make a safe return. This is good news for the 787, but perhaps very bad news elsewhere in the group.
